These terms and conditions govern all
transactions between you the customer and us Pixie Dust Cakes.
They can
only be varied in writing signed by or on behalf of Pixie Dust Cakes.
1. Deposits
A deposit of 50% is required for all
cakes at the time of order (and is non-refundable).
The balance is payable
on delivery for celebration cakes and 2 week prior to the delivery date for
Wedding cakes.
2. Payments
Payments may be made by:-

Cash
ˇ
Personal cheque, supported
by and to the value of a valid cheque guarantee card.
ˇ
Building society cheque
Please make all cheques payable to
PIXIE DUST CAKES.

(PayPal will include a small administration

3. Alteration to orders
Any alteration to the original order must
be confirmed in writing and may be subject to an
additional charge. We
will endeavour to accommodate late amendments to orders,
but this cannot be
guaranteed. Changes to Wedding cake designs can be made up to 2 months
before the date required.
4. Cancellation of
orders
In the event of cancellation, more than 6
weeks before the date of delivery of the cake a full refund
will be made.
No cancellation will be accepted less than 6 weeks prior to the date for
delivery of the cake.
5. Act of God
We will use all reasonable endeavours to
ensure that your cake is ready on time but in the event
that this is
prevented by circumstances beyond our control such as but not limited to,
shortage of
materials or unavailability of labour, we shall have no
liability to you other
than the return of the deposit paid.
6. Liability
Our liability in the event of our failure
to provide any cake on time will
(other than in respect of death or personal
injury) be limited to the cost of the cake.
7. Copyright
Copyright and all other Intellectual
Property Rights in the design of all cakes produced
by us shall remain our
property.
8. Hire
All stands and
separators hired by us are done so on a daily basis with a holding deposit.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the hired items are
returned to us the following day in good order. Failure to do so could
result in the loss of the holding deposit.
